Brand & Advertiser Terms

These Brand & Advertiser Terms supplement the TikImpact Terms of Service and govern the use of Hub (creator marketplace), Ads (advertising platform), Jobs (hiring), and Store (vendor) products by brands, employers, and advertisers.

1. Brand Eligibility

  • You must represent a legitimate registered business or be a verified freelance operator
  • You are responsible for ensuring your brand and products comply with applicable laws in your target markets
  • TikImpact reserves the right to require business verification documents before campaign activation
  • One brand entity per account. Multiple brands require separate accounts with approval.

2. Posting Collaboration Opportunities

When posting a collaboration opportunity on Hub, you must:

  • Provide accurate deliverable requirements, timelines, and compensation details
  • Not post misleading or fraudulent opportunities
  • Specify the campaign budget and payment terms before publication
  • Not require creators to purchase products as a condition of collaboration without fair compensation
  • Post only products and services that are legally available in your target market

Opportunity Moderation

All opportunities are reviewed before publication. Review typically completes within 4 business hours. TikImpact reserves the right to decline or remove opportunities that violate these terms or platform standards without refund of posting fees.

3. Payments and Platform Fees

Hub Marketplace

When a collaboration is completed and the creator delivers confirmed deliverables, the agreed payment is due within 14 days. TikImpact's escrow service holds the brand payment until confirmation. Platform commission is charged to the creator side; brands pay the full agreed rate.

Ads Platform

Ad spend is pre-funded. Campaigns will not activate until sufficient funds are in your ad account. Unused ad credit is refundable upon account closure (processing time: 10 business days).

Jobs (Employer)

Basic job postings are included in your membership tier. Featured listings and candidate database access are available as paid add-ons. See pricing at /pricing/.

4. Advertising Content Standards

All advertising content on TikImpact must comply with:

  • Google Ads / Facebook Ads equivalent prohibited categories (see §8)
  • FTC endorsement guidelines and truth-in-advertising rules
  • GDPR requirements for targeted advertising in EU/EEA regions
  • Local advertising standards in each country you target

Ads that contain misleading claims, unsubstantiated health benefits, or exploitative content will be rejected. Repeated violations result in account suspension.

5. Creator Relationship

Creators on TikImpact are independent contractors, not employees of your brand or of TikImpact. You:

  • Cannot direct creators in ways that imply an employment relationship
  • Must respect creators' editorial independence for authentic content
  • Cannot engage creators found on TikImpact directly for 12 months after the last platform-mediated collaboration
  • Are responsible for ensuring commissioned content complies with your brand's legal obligations

6. Dispute Process

If a creator does not deliver agreed content or the content does not meet specifications:

  • File a dispute through Hub within 7 days of the delivery deadline
  • TikImpact mediates disputes with the goal of fair resolution
  • TikImpact's dispute decision is binding within platform limits
  • External legal remedies are available after the TikImpact process is exhausted

7. Data and Audience Targeting

When using audience targeting features in the Ads product:

  • You may not target users based on protected characteristics (race, religion, gender, sexual orientation, health status)
  • You may not upload customer data that was collected without valid consent
  • Custom audience data is processed under data processing agreement (DPA) — contact legal@tikimpact.com

8. Prohibited Product Categories

The following categories are prohibited on TikImpact regardless of jurisdiction:

  • Tobacco, e-cigarettes, vaping products
  • Prescription medications (unless licensed healthcare provider with verified credentials)
  • Unregistered financial products, cryptocurrency schemes, get-rich-quick programs
  • Gambling and betting (outside licensed jurisdictions with explicit approval)
  • Adult content (18+ services require separate platform approval)
  • Weapons, explosives, or dangerous goods
  • Counterfeit or trademark-infringing goods
