  • Profile information: bio, country, language preference, profile photo
  • User role (creator, employer, brand, vendor, instructor)
  • TikTok account handle (optional, for creator verification)

Usage Data

  • Pages visited, features used, time spent, click patterns
  • Search queries within the platform
  • Content viewed, courses started, applications submitted
  • IP address, browser type, device type, operating system

Commercial Data

  • Subscription tier and billing history (processed via WooCommerce/MemberPress)
  • Payment method metadata (card type, last 4 digits — full card data handled by payment processor)
  • Collaboration agreements, offer history, earnings (Hub)
  • Job applications and resume data (Jobs)
  • Store orders and purchase history (Store)

Communications Data

  • Messages sent through our platform (community, support tickets)
  • Support communications via Fluent Support
  • Email marketing preferences and engagement (MailPoet)

3. How We Use Your Data

  • Service delivery: Provide, maintain, and improve the platform features you use. Legal basis: Contract performance.
  • Matching & recommendations: Match creators with brand opportunities, suggest courses, recommend content. Legal basis: Legitimate interests.
  • Communications: Send transactional emails (account, billing, security), weekly digest (with consent), platform updates. Legal basis: Contract / Consent.
  • Safety & fraud prevention: Detect abuse, verify identities, enforce terms of service. Legal basis: Legitimate interests / Legal obligation.
  • Analytics & improvement: Understand how users interact with features to improve them. Legal basis: Legitimate interests.
  • Legal compliance: Respond to legal requests, comply with tax obligations, enforce contracts. Legal basis: Legal obligation.

4. Sharing and Disclosure

We do not sell your personal data. We share data only in the following circumstances:

  • Service providers: Hosting (CyberPanel), payment processing, email delivery, analytics — all under data processing agreements.
  • Platform counterparties: When you accept a collaboration (Hub) or apply for a job (Jobs), limited profile data is shared with the relevant brand or employer.
  • Legal requirements: We may disclose data if required by valid legal process or to protect rights, safety, or property.
  • Business transfers: In the event of a merger or acquisition, personal data may be transferred to the new entity.

8. Data Retention

We retain your data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide services. Specific retention periods:

  • Account data: Until account deletion + 30 days
  • Transaction records: 7 years (legal/tax requirement)
  • Support tickets: 3 years after resolution
  • Analytics data (anonymized): Indefinite
  • Membership data: Free (12 months), Basic (24), Pro (36), Enterprise (60) after cancellation

9. International Data Transfers

TikImpact operates globally. Your data may be transferred to and processed in countries other than your own, including the United States. For EU/EEA data subjects, we rely on Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) approved by the European Commission to protect your data during international transfers.

10. Children's Privacy
