Acceptable Use Policy
TikImpact is a professional platform for the creator economy. This Acceptable Use Policy defines the standards of behavior expected from all users. Violations may result in content removal, account suspension, or permanent ban.
1. Scope
This policy applies to all users, including creators, brands, employers, vendors, instructors, and visitors. It covers all content posted, actions taken, and communications made through TikImpact products.
2. Prohibited Content
Always Prohibited
- Child Sexual Abuse Material (CSAM) Immediate ban + report to authorities
- Content that incites violence, terrorism, or genocide Immediate ban
- Non-consensual intimate imagery (revenge porn) Immediate ban
- Doxxing (publishing private personal information without consent) Immediate suspension
- Content promoting illegal activity or providing instructions for illegal acts
- Malware, phishing links, or deceptive software distribution
Harmful Content
- Harassment, bullying, or targeted abuse of individuals or groups
- Content that demeans people based on race, ethnicity, gender, religion, disability, or sexual orientation
- Graphic violence without clear educational or journalistic context
- Medical misinformation (e.g., false claims about treatments, vaccines, or health products)
- Financial misinformation (e.g., false performance claims, pump-and-dump schemes)
3. Prohibited Conduct
- Creating fake accounts or impersonating other creators, brands, or individuals
- Buying, selling, or transferring TikImpact accounts
- Artificially inflating followers, engagement, or course reviews
- Coordinated inauthentic behavior (fake reviews, review bombing, fake applications)
- Spam: mass unsolicited messages, repetitive posts, or off-topic content
- Using bots, scrapers, or automated tools without written permission
- Attempting to circumvent platform fees or payment systems
- Circumventing account restrictions or bans by creating new accounts
4. Platform Integrity
- Do not attempt to probe, scan, or test the vulnerability of any TikImpact system
- Do not attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or extract source code
- Do not interfere with or disrupt the platform's infrastructure or other users' experience
- Report security vulnerabilities responsibly to security@tikimpact.com
5. Reporting Violations
All TikImpact products include an in-platform reporting tool. Use the "..." menu on any content item or user profile to report violations. TikImpact reviews all reports and responds within:
- Critical violations (CSAM, violence, terrorism): within 1 hour
- High severity (harassment, fraud, doxxing): within 24 hours
- Standard violations: within 5 business days
For urgent reports, email trust@tikimpact.com with subject "URGENT: [type of violation]".
6. Enforcement
TikImpact takes a proportionate approach to enforcement:
- Warning: First violation of minor rules with no lasting harm
- Content removal: Offending content removed, account kept active
- Temporary suspension: 7-30 days for serious or repeated violations
- Permanent ban: Reserved for egregious violations or repeated serious offences
- Legal referral: CSAM and terrorism content referred to law enforcement
Appeals: email appeals@tikimpact.com within 30 days of enforcement action. Include your account email and the violation ID from your notification.
